The St. Charles County Assessor’s Office will make diligent inquiry and examination of all taxable property within the boundaries of St. Charles County. We will produce fair, impartial and accurate market values ensuring uniform treatment for all taxpayers, with balanced integrity to the assessment process in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri and the St. Charles County Charter. We seek to provide optimal service to the public and maintain trust through honest, responsive and consistent information, a shared stewardship of public records and fiscal responsibility within the framework of county government. Our office remains dedicated to leadership in the field of Assessment Administration and the application of proper appraisal methods, techniques and standards through ongoing professional education.
