January 1st :  The Assessment date, all property is assessed as it exists on this date  (except for Taxation upon Occupancy) 

March 1st :  Last day to file personal property declarations without a penalty 

Mid April & Early May :  Notices of Real Estate Assessment mailed 

End of April through Mid June:   Informal hearings held 

July 1st :  Certification of Tax Rolls, the Assessor turns all values over to the County Council and taxing jurisdictions 

2nd Monday in July :  Deadline to file appeals to the Board of Equalization 

September 30th :   Deadline to file appeals to the Missouri State Tax Commission (or 30 days from BOE decision date)
